Our Complete Blood Count (CBC) test basically consists of measurement of the following: White Blood Cell count (WBC) and differential counts: Neutrophil, Lymphocyte, MIDS (Monocytes, Eosinophils, Basophils) – both absolute count and percent, Red Blood Cell count (RBC), Hemoglobin, Hematocrit (often referred to as PCV), Red Blood Cell indices (Mean corpuscular volume – MCV, Mean corpuscular hemoglobin – MCH, Mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration – MCHC, and Red blood cell distribution width – RDW). Others are Platelet count and Mean Platelet Volume (MPV). To perform this test you will need to visit your laboratory of choice for the collection of a Blood sample.
